ur comprehensive expertise in electrified drive sys-

tems, power electronics, and battery system integra-

tion allowed us to address the customer’s specific

requirements. In particular, our ability to develop customized

solutions for use under demanding operating conditions in the

railway sector was convincing.

We developed a solution that focuses on validating the perfor-

mance and operational safety of energy storage systems in

railway technology.

• 2 AVL E-STORAGE SiC™ 550 kW with MPDB (manual power

distribution box)

As part of our strategic sales activities, we successfully acquired a new

customer specializing in the electrification of rail vehicles in the field of

railway technology. HOPPECKE aims to ensure the future success of its

business by adopting modern, low-emission drive technologies.

• Implementation of a cross-connection for reaching the

megawatt range

• Stäubli connector solution enables quick connection/

change of high-voltage cables (quick coupling solution)

• Automation with AVL LYNX 2™

This collaboration is an important milestone that offers great

potential for a long-term partnership in sustainable mobility

solutions for rail transport.
