MUBIL, with the support of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, is a

hub for smart and sustainable mobility in the Basque Country.

Our mission is to enhance mobility capabilities through

collaboration between public and private entities. To achieve

this, we’re establishing a unique ecosystem on 50,000m²

that involves companies, research centers, and universities.

Our technical center houses unique laboratories for energy

storage, e-propulsion systems (for both light-duty and heavy-

duty vehicles) and hydrogen mobility. Our current challenge is

finali^ing tLe technical center house, which will enable us to

kick off lab activities to add value to the mobility sector.

addressing their limitations, such as long-distance travel and

heavy loads. Key advantages of hydrogen include renewable

production, minimal lifecycle emissions, high energy density,

and fast refueling times. However, achieving widespread

adoption requires advancements in mass production,

infrastructure, storage, and fuel cell technology.
